I am but I'm always in these threads calling the complainers retards. It's always the same in that (1) they don't go where the money is and (2) they don't put in the effort to get a high TC. All you have to do as a ME is get good at math and coding and you can walk right into big tech or a hot robotics startup, or at least get a cushy job at a defense contractor. No ME has to settle for 60k unless they're unironically stupid or unwilling to relocate.
