I'm 33 and make 150k a year, drive a beamer (meme car but I like how it handles), and for the longest time I was walking around like I was barely making ends meet because I work in crypto and I know several multi-millionaires. Yeah my net worth aint shit to them but to 80% (at least) of normies I'm richer than them. Plus I focus on the stuff that I do have going for me - I'm good looking, 6'4, and creative. Many of those multimillionaires that "make it" have a huge existential crisis and end up burying themselves in drugs and excessive partying - last time we were all in Miami one of them had to go to the ER because clear fluid started leaking out of his ears after doing a ton of drugs.

I find the most joy in creative writing whereas he constantly calls up our mutual complaining about his life/problems/loneliness despite having an outward life that most people on this board would kill for. I used to really envy him but nowadays I'm not sure if I really do anymore. I may end up the same way. I think being a low 7 figs guy in your 40s that has a good community, good family, and own business (or passion/cause to dedicate themselves to) is the ideal life.

Don't actually let this place fuck with your head too much anon. Don't settle for low effort but you're only 30, once you get to your 40s if you have around a million you're in good shape.

don't be afraid to prioritize time for yourself. everyone needs it, I'm sure your wife needs it too. not in an "eat pray love" way, but in a "this is stressful and I'm human" way. try being more open about your sexuality and make her feel attractive. you can't get less pussy than you're getting now.

you shouldn't be afraid to have more kids either. you may develop a new perspective on family. don't despair, you can make it work.

When did you start actually trying? I started actually thinking about my future and long term growth a month ago and I now have a place in place to have a million net worth in the next 10-15 years.

You can't expect to be a millionaire by 30 if you haven't spent a serious amount of time actively working towards that, having plans in place, saving, gaining compound interest, not spending lavishly etc.

Also helps if you have a partner who is aligned to your goals. 2 income streams help significantly.

The elephant in the room no one wants to talk is the increasing numbers of disabled kids

No one wants to talk about it because if you told the population you have a 5-10% of having severe disabled kid natality rates will drop even faster.

Even young mothers and fathers are experiencing the increased risk of disabilities in their children so age is clearly not largest culprit if it even is a culprit at all.
No one knows for sure but a lot of much smarter people than us are saying that it is most likely the work of some pollutant that have increased in quantity over the last two decades, micro plastics is one of those pollutants that have been brought up many times as a likely source of this but it's almost blind speculation since no one knows for sure how 90% of the shit our industries pumps out into the biosphere actually affects the human body in the long term, the few who might know are either hiding their know for profit or doesn't care enough to spread awareness of it

The black pill that humanity is becoming unable at exponential rate to have healthy kids is too hard to swallow for the "muh legacy" conservatives.

For their mind is easier ignore the problem and think this will never happen to them that try to find a solution

Prevalence of autism in the United States is currently estimated at 1 in 36 children

Nearly 78 percent of children with autism have at least one co-occurring mental health condition (Science Daily, January 2021). ADHD is the most common mental health condition in people with autism, occurring in 28 percent, according to the Duke Center for Autism and Brain Development.

Approximately 75% of adults with autism are unemployed or under-employed. Of adults with autism that have a college education, 85 percent are unemployed.

About 40 percent of children with autism are nonverbal.

This is fascinating. My current girlfriend's family aren't on the spectrum but they're all neuro-atypical (she has ADHD, her sister has OCD, her brother has a little OCD/sensory overload, her other sister works for FEMA so she's just a sociopath).

I'd like to start planning for kids when I get to around 35 and I've never really given it much thought before. In my family we're all neurotypical except I have very mild ADD which I don't even need medication for. What are the odds of her passing this on to potential kids?

human reproductive cloning fixes this. even if the modern autism epidemic is the result of the natal environment and/or early exposure to microplastics, xeno-hormones, pollution, etc you would still be selecting for genes resilient to these risks by picking a DNA donor that have less incidents of autism in their family. DNA analysis could probably provide a better picture: sorting donor candidates using more parameters would lead to better outcomes. big data analytics and neural networks have already been shown to be wildly successfully in biostatistics applications.

fertility crisis is here and it's only getting worse, and yet no one can afford to have more than 3 kids, not in the developed world at least. the solution is to improve stock, better genes improves all outcomes, makes childrearing safer and more profitable. self sufficient children, better genes means they make better parents, thus a virtuous pro-natal cycle to pull us out from what appears to be a dysgenic death spiral. the most powerful force in the universe is a positive feedback loop.

do we have the means? we are very close. scientists have recently figured out how to develop eggs from stem cells. sperm is dirt cheap. this means we will have a cheap source of human embryos to work with, even if nuclear transplantation has low success rates at first (which it will, probably starting at 0.5%) that just means you need ~200 embryos. like DNA analysis, this process will be automated and streamlined. the first consumers will be the rich and cosmopolitan, a good fit since they tend to have children later in life and probably need a reliable source of embryos. it will start with traditional dice-roll genes, move onto mass produced traditional + pre-implantation genetic diagnosis, then that + CRISPR single gene edits, then at some point people will realize that the embryos they are creating are so modified that they may as well just-out of space. continued below

>> No.55686773

>>55686753
at some point people will realize that the embryos they are creating are so modified that they may as well just start with a donor 'template' DNA sequence and do single gene edits onto that. every single organism on the planet is just a single (double for twins) test run demo of a DNA sequence. it would be almost impossible to replicate that even with the best neural network biostatistics algorithm. I know most people value certainty, this would provide that. If you look at identical twins you can see they are quite similar. surprisingly similiar if you are of the mind that nurture is more powerful than nature. this certainty of outcome cannot be underestimated, especially given the litigious nature of healthcare, of medical malpractice. inevitably someone implanted embryo will come out all wrong. any uncertainty in the genetics could be considered damning. therefore medical companies will seek shelter under the certainty of cloning. how could it be our fault when we have the already run the DNA in this other human from birth to adulthood?

>> No.55686792

>>55686773
Also I forgot to mention that if you looked into the ethics of cloning, you would find that every anti-cloning argument is vapor thin. it's all smoke, all fuzzy feelings created from a slew of sci-fi films that preyed upon our biological instinctive fear of mimicry. we just naturally hate doppelgangers, identical twins are creepy. it's an old fear, likely 100s of millions of years old.
also don't even start with the 'playing god' argument. how many times have you got into your shiny metal capsule and blasted off using the power of internal explosions going faster than any land animal on earth. you do this regularly. we became gods the second we started lighting shit on fire.
