Elon Musk chose the X as a signal to slowly exit the system and expand to become a parent company similar to how Meta owns Instagram and Whatsapp. He will extend twitter with this new everything app that has the potential to grow based on it's simple and powerful tech stack, something twitters outdated legacy problems won't be able to overcome.
