My company has fidelity to. I have a 401k with the company a roth IRA and a traditional equity account with TD Ameritrade. If you don't know the difference between all these things I would stick to a stock broker. I was just being facetious anon. The market is a complicated entity and truthfully I barely understand it.

I just know safe bets vs riskier bets and I have a plan to handle them. But I deff save money not having fees from brokers. Investing in the S&P is considered the safest bet.

The fed did a technical bailout but it was more psychological than physically bailing out. Banks bore the cost of insuring those depositors and payed out their own insurance fund to it. The Fed took on debt by offering loans, but again those are loans that the banks would need to pay back in the future and those were at fed rate so they're toxic loans to hold onto their books so they will want to pay the fed back as soon as possible once their balance sheets can handle it. I do think some of those banks should have found out for fucking around, but it is what it is at this point. If there was a famine coming, why did it drop so hard this year? Maybe you should read the reports on wheat, by the FDSA and others (WASDE).
