Index funds are a scam and if you think about it for 5 seconds you will realize why. Rich is relative compared to others. Not everyone can be rich in a capitalist society there is not enough resources. Therefore a fund that aggregates everyone's funds and provides average performance by definition can never make you rich because a large number of people can never be rich. Index funds are just another way to sell a dream to poor people.
