Are there people here who understand the specifics? My questions are:

-for the current Swift customers (the 11k banks), what is the cost savings to them to use CCIP option for payments?

-will Link nodes get paid from Swift via the fees they charge banks or get paid straight from the banks?

-how cumbersome is the setup to transition from current system to CCIP?

Thanks in advance to answers. Lets say the pilot goes really well, basically Im curious about what will incentivize banks to use CCIP on a large scale. As anyone who’s worked for or near legacy finance knows, theyre resistant to change even if something makes sense monetarily.

Does anyone know if the team has given any projections on transaction costs, ie the legacy system takes 5% on a cross border transaction whereas Link would be 1% etc etc

You’d get better responses if you post on Reddit or twitter. Nothing but retarded baggies here

for international transfers it'll save money but more importantly time. clearing those sometimes takes 30 days or more
nodes will be paid by fees paid to access the network. this includes data calls and ccip.
fednow is already launching with banks on board their own private chains. hard work has already been done. bank messaging just needs to be updated to route in this new manner.

Chainlink pilots are never real, Link is a true fucking security, Chainlink is a centralized company. No bank care about that shit, Biz is an echochamber.

I will get downvoted to oblivion. I know.

1. not enough information yet to determine
2. read the whitepaper on how link gets distributed to nodes
3. how cumbersome do you think it is to transition from a legacy banking communication system that’s been around for a thousand years to a new one?
dyor. or don’t and just continue listening to people on a bolivian spider catching forum

It’s a pilot that will incentive smaller, leaner banks to adopt first for a competitive advantage. Over the next 10 years, as those smaller banks get absorbed by the legacy 4, they’ll slowly integrate these systems. Overall this will be around 15-20 years for adoption, in which LINK will easily become a top15 token in market cap

Is anyone really going to listen to FUDster with SCAM in their name?

OP we'd need to know the current costs that SWIFT pay, it wouldn't be limited to cost per transaction either, there would be yearly licensing, consulting etc., a ducking mountain of it, CCIP's costs are transparent.
You shall have to ask why they want to use CCIP in the first place, I bet they're willing to pay

holy shit my ID proves it all.
LINK = SCAM

I knew it when I put 10k at $0.7, I knew it when I sold at $22. Keep winning biz.
