lol so many people did this back in the early days of crypto though. I remember faucets that gave out 5btc each.

I gave someone a bitcoin ($10) for giving me a link to some pgp website just because.

still using the asus monitor i paid 6btc for from roger vers memory dealers proejct.

spent over 1,400 btc on the first SR and didn't keep a single cheap coin. pounds of weed i bought back then worth 3-5mil now and packs of 100g mdma worth the same. was so happy with 2-6x my money with weed and mdma i didn't realize i could have legally been a millionare if i would have just hodled.

Probably fair to say the majority of people using BTC back then have extremely similar stories where in 2017 we probably have 1-10% of the btc we had spent back in the day. I wonder if all the european mdma people kept their BTC back then or cashed out when they were cheap. they would be so fucking rich right now....

Also OP sorry you can't remember your password lol. I feel so bad for a friend of mine we created a blockchain.info wallet for him and he bought 10btc at $500 in 2014... didnt save the recovery phrase and he lost the secondary password... like months have he purchased so he def could have bought back in but was too salty about losing 5k. he's been hitting me up lately trying to figure something out : (

yeah there was a lot of overlap with early bitcoin enthusiast and his podcasts I feel like which makes sense. He plugged it very early on I remember. what's his wallet up to now? IIRC he has well over 200btc from donations .
