You wouldn't have made it. You would have panic sold at a loss and been in a worse off position. Many people have done exactly this. So count your blessings that you "missed out".

>>55597423
i confidently feel i wouldn't of done that. there was this forum, cryptotalk, something like that, mainly russian users, anyway what i read on there made me assume it's impossible for bitcoin not to hit even $100,000. when i saw in the news that it was hitting hundreds and then thousands, i thought it's got a long way to go before its real value is reached.

for extra context, i have not panic sold my pitiful bags in link, xrp, jasmy (lol), johnny depp amber heard shitcoin, ape, any number of the retarded coins i've picked up i have never sold

How old are you? I've been on /sp/ since I was 16. I'm 26 now. I only came to /biz/ in 2020. I don't feel like I missed out in the 2017 run because i had no money. If you have money now, best to use that knowledge and make it happen. Or just bitch and moan like a woman.

I don't need to. All the computer components that crypto needs to function require PMs to be manufactured. Just cut in line and buy gold and silver and skip the shitcoins.

early twenties. always had a few hundred to throw at things during teenage/tween years too, just too retarded i suppose to capitalize, even though i was extremely self aware of what was happening and was going to happen. even tried to get my dad in on it when bitcoin was hovering around $400, he was interested but never followed up, same thing happened with ETH.

>>55597523
by the time the investment brings the wealth needed, my parents would be dead and i'd be too old to enjoy the surgery benefits

Dude just make a coinbase account, get kycd, and put some money into BTC, Eth & link RIGHT NOW, forget the price. we're in a bear market so even if you buy a local top, in the big scheme of things you're still buying the bottom. It's not rocket science.

the thing is man, what's a couple of hundred dollars going to do now? i put a few hundred in bitcoin, maybe in 3 years i have $2,000. that's a nice little bag of money for food or hobby shit, the money i need however is above $500,000. i'm afraid that nothing anymore realistically will change a few hundred into hundreds of thousands or even millions. i try to buy the shitcoins i think will explode, i try to catch the market, i just never seem to land on the correct choice.

already have a trading account with swyftx. i have LINK, XRP, ICP, HEDERA, many real coins and many shitcoins. only have $2000 all up across 10 different coins, and that's just on swyftx. my trust wallet has a few hundred in it on things like d0gbato

So was I, and I didn’t buy either. I am buying now. I don’t have much disposable income, so getting even 100 Link was a struggle. Now I have 700. Took over a year of dcaing. Maybe I can get 1k before Sergey flips the switch. It seems like we’re running out of time though.

Wish I was. It was one of my first ever crypto buys. I didn't understand how the market worked and thought it would just keep going up
