This isn't 2021 anymore kiddo. Also, FAANG is firing in droves, so no more super unusually high salaries right out of college.

CS grad here, most I ever made was $81k (crappy southeastern state with exploitative company, granted).

You also have to take into account the extreme saturation in CS today. The only way you're sliding into a $120k+ job nowadays is if you know your data structures like you know the english language. You have to literally live and breath coding, 24/7, no exceptions. That's the only way you'll stand above the ferocious competition of today.
