what the fuck is an expert anon? By whose authority is someone an expert? Were the old doctors who used to recommend cigarettes experts in their field? I think not if they were suggesting this, they simply were good at following directions and taking tests. Its this part in particular thats important. All of these scientific studies that we base things on are publicly available, literally any human being on the planet can have the same level of information as an "expert" and if they have the same level of info, then what will separate their understanding of a topic is intelligence. Now we can clearly see that in my example of doctors, the ones suggesting for you to smoke cigs, I dont believe you could call intelligent as they were simply "following guidelines" Instead of gathering evidence themselves and making their own conclusion.
