>be me
>apply for tons of shitty low level office jobs like administrative assistant, receptionist, and accountants receivable rep
>none of them are interested even in interviewing me
>settle for a food service job
Why must it be like this? I was the smart kid in school with so much potential.

Newsflash kid: no one cares.
I don't care what your grades were.
You have to actually prove you can produce.
You have to start at the bottom like everyone else.

I’m clearly willing to start at the bottom. What’s lower than a receptionist in the white collar hierarchy?

If you were smart and had no skills, you would go into some type of sales immediately, get gud and dump +20% of your income into high risk high reward investments/ +10% into safer investments.

Starting at the bottom is the worst advice, if you have a degree but no experience try for salaried manager trainee slots in retail

This.

I work in HR and I have been experimenting with denying someone a job to see if they really want it. If they just say "ok fine" or never contact me again then there is a proper lack of motivation. Some candidates actually try to find out why they got rejected, or ask me what they can do to improve. And THAT is exactly what I want to hear. I learned this in a course and it really shows who got qualities and who is a simple quiiter. Imagine someone working for you just gives up so easily when they encounter a problem, instead of looking on how to solve it.

All those cushy jobs that allow you to live on your own and attract women are reserved for women, who will devote their entire lives to meaningless consumerism and corporations.

this is what people who get jobs through nepotism/networking tell you to trick you into wasting your time and effort for a job that doesn't even cover rent

Apply for training roles in business, most companies have them and will prep you to middle manage over hourly wagies

Those cushy and worthless jobs like receptionist are for good looking women only. The management is usually fucking those or at least trying to, possibly passed around to execs if managements are faggots.

It's a whole racket where young wagie bitches get invited to special events and private parties/gatherings for the purpose of being introduces to old/rich boomers.

That only works if there is a high supply of unemployed and a low supply of jobs. I just recently got a new job and the job market is so desperate for employees that I had companies starting bidding wars to hire me. If you had rejected me I wouldn’t have even noticed as I was so swept up in managing the other companies that were making increasingly higher offers for me to come work for them kek

Im only 23 and I work in a public accounting firm as a tax director making 190k a year. Went to 7 different job fairs before I met my employer who started up a small firm. Got on as an intern and learned the operations, now weve hired more people and i'm an executive. My boss is retiring soon, most likely going to go partner and take over the firm. Plus I suck his dick under the desk every now and then in order to secure that promotion wink wink ;)
