Every cycle Bitcoin performs exponentially weaker. Not to mention its dominance continues to drop over time with the ever expanding amount of altcoins. The altcoins steal away marketcap from Bitcoin and dilutes the ponzi making it more difficult for everyone to make it in the process. Dog coins made it to insane marketcap, if many of these scam coins didn't exist Bitcoin would be way over $100K right now.
