In short they need a few quick wins or it's not going to look good for them. It's already really bad for them in fact. Ripple will pay a huge fine and Ripple may appeal some things but I don't think the SEC will.

No. why would they sell now when they know price is going up. They are (more then anybody) aware that price is going up. They would sell for...what ? 10 cents ? Or even loss ? Why ? There is no logic in that. Long term holders were holding for years... Long term holders know the price is going to go up...it is not logical to sell now. and retail is buying. Exchanges are just facilitators of trade. But exchanges are getting XRP from somewhere. who is dumping ? who is dumping knowing that the price is going up...everybody knows that the price is going up... and somebody is still dumping large amounts. who ?
