Can recruiters tell? I need to separate myself from the rest of the H1B AI/ML pajeets for a software job.

Yes. It's pretty normal to lie about everything. Nothing happens if you lie, unless you get caught

Depends. Your CV will first be looked at by HR roasties and they know exactly 0 shit about the technical side so you can lie your ass off. But by the time you get to 2nd interview you will probably get asked some questions by someone who isn't HR so even if you do lie to get your ass through the door you better have some skill to back it up.
In the end it doesn't cost you anything to lie, even if they figure it out just pretend it's a misunderstanding or something lmao what they gonna do call the police? KEK

lie, no. embellish, absolutely. learn the difference.

if you lie about degrees or industry certs, there's a 50/50 chance of them checking. If they bother to run a simple background check, they'll know if you lied. That's before considering an interview with someone familiar to the role you're applying.

You wouldn't apply with a false identity, being a citizen, because then that's fraud, so you'll definitely blackball yourself if you get caught.

You can lie about simple bullshit more easily but still need to convince your future boss.

Is there a blacklisting service? How much does it cost? Who maintains the account?

Sounds like a whole other job

>what happen if you get caught though
They will just not hire you.
>can u get blacklisted from everywhere or just that company
Tbh i don t know about the blacklisting thing but i know that they are legally not allowed to share information with other companies about you, if it s a small town where every body knows each other then you better be careful with your reputation
