The brands are still run by specific departments. Sales dumping for a brand are still bad as the parent company will see that and demand an explanation or response. It seems to have worked in this case... which makes sense since working/lower class white and hispanic men are the lifeblood of Bud Light and this is like the last thing you'd want to market to them with their pisswater of choice.
