I've been looking into trading indices lately and wanted to get your thoughts on the best platforms for this type of trading. It seems like there's not much discussion about it, and I've had my fair share of losses in the futures market. I'm eager to switch up my strategy and explore the potential of generating passive income. What platforms have you had success with, and why do you think trading indices isn't talked about as much?

Well, I also noticed that nobody cares about index investment strategies which makes me too freaking curious

am too wondering of a simpler layout but not junky. I'm thinking of tick trading the S&P or some volitile single stocks mentioned here. Thanks, anons!

There are index investment platforms especially on Ethereum ecosystem but they are quite rare

I don't know anything about buying stocks indices. Too messed up and junky. I find crypto index investment platforms like AstraDAO easier to use in buying indices with my DAI or other stablecoin such as USDC/USDT funds.

Indices trading are underrated and if you're great at the business, you'll get some dough

Get your ass some AAPL and GOOGL in the stock while buy yourself some winning indices with ETH in the crypto space. It's never a dull moment.

Why trading indices aren't talked about as much, it's probably because it lacks the meme factor. People love talking about the latest moonshots and 100x gains, but indices are more about stability and long-term gains.

>> No.55529513

>>55528124
The reason it's not as discussed is simple: it lacks that crazy adrenaline rush of crypto. Trading indices is like sipping a fine whiskey, not chugging energy drinks and snorting lines of hopium. It's a more mature and calculated approach to investing.

Tastytrade is probably the best platform for the average retail trader. They will let anyone buy/sell options on anything.
Give up on the idea of passive income unless you are going to be investing in bonds, REIT's and high dividend stocks. Any 'passive income' that revolves around selling options isn't really passive, requires aggressive hedging, and a very difficult 'impartial' mindset.
