I taken a closer look at it.
The reason you're probably seeing a discrepancy is that if you multiple shares outstanding by the $95 takeover price, you get a larger balance. ATVI is sitting on $12 bil in cash though, vs only $7 bil in liabilities. When accounting for the total cash cost of the purchase on Microsoft's end, you have to adjust for the fact that they're receiving some cash back out of ATVI's own balances.
So some reporting may give you the marketcap size of the acquisition, whereas others could be reporting on enterprise value.

It'll never pump all the way to $95 until the deal is finalized. It's pretty set in stone at this point though, with the main question being the final close date.
UK is still not settled, but it seems like at worst they might ask for some minor concessions which would have no impact on the buyout price from ATVIs end.
