Back in my day, you could get a movie ticket for $3.50 and a slice of pizza with pop for $0.75.

My dad likes to tell me stories of his childhood when you could go to the movies for a nickel. If you had a quarter you could see the movie and get all the snacks you could eat and then some more.

Yes, inflation exists. One day, you'll tell your grandkids how a $90 movie ticket used to be "only" $15.

I used to manage a cinema years back and the under 21 employees hourly pay was less than the cost of a hot dog.
Us managers were told to also deal with the niggers stealing shit which we of course handed these tasks down to the employees.
Most of the smart ones didn't listen or bother and we weren't really enforcing it either.
One day some new kid who took his job seriously confronted the pack of niggers and later on we found out he was jumped at the end of his shift.
He quit and didn't come back.
