The token itself is ETH based. The idea of it being blockchain agnostic happens whereby the original LINK token is locked up on the ETH chain and an IOU is issued on the other platform. The primary problem with LINK lies with the fact that these IOUs are issued on centralised platforms, which kind of defeats the whole point of even needing it to be blockchain based in the first place, hence the 'Token Not Needed' meme.

It’s another way of creating demand for XRP. A flawed example of institutional adoption using similar tech would be JPM creating its JPM shitcoin within its centralized network, they used Ethereum EVM for this, and they printed it out of thin air creating to real demand for ETH which is worthless anyway.

more troubling is the fact that i tick most of the boxes for schizotypal or schizoaffective disorder with some bipolar characteristic. i've literally gone doctor shopping for a diagnosis, unsuccessfully trying to figure out what the fuck is wrong with my head. i've now been to three licensed diagnosticians and been tested for schizo disorders, bipolar, depression, adult ADHD, autism. i'm actually pissed that not a single one came up positive. my results for every single test were sub-clinical except for seasonal affective disorder, and one doctor saying that i exhibited signs of trauma with possible post-hypnotic suggestion or dissociation.

as you guys pointed out, this GATE kid starseed stuff is 99% wish fulfillment bullshit expertly tailor made for people like me. textbook delusions of grandeur and persecution. there are a lot of people like me on 4chan apparently. even before they cranked up the chatbots on /pol/ to 11, every GATE thread would hit bump limit.

but like. i really was in those weird ass classes where they did guided meditation exercises and made us plan future societies and tested how we responded to authority. i really was sent to special tests at my local university's education department. i really have had a bunch of weird situations in my life that i can't explain, from elementary school onward. and my life has only gotten weirder since then.

As Ripple was positive with a multi-chain ecosystem with XRP, the Hooks sidechain is proposed w/ the Import amendment (B2M).

The XRPL ecosystem will be introduced to a new sidechain, the Hooks sidechain (not the official name), which would have a ((few)) features available:
- Hooks (smart contracts)
- URITokens (light-weight NFTs)
- Import (for B2M)
- and a few others...

Many are validating this as the XRPL's next evolution, but it's really up to you on how you perceive and react to this.

Ripple doesn't control the XRPL. The XRPL runs with no incentive. So Ripple disappearing doesn't even disincentivize nodes.

My opinion is that the company Ripple has been the worst thing to ever happen to XRP and the XRPL.

Yes but if they fail to meet the expectations there is no legal contract to compel Ripple and all of the investors know this.

To pass the howie test they need to have a contract that legally binds them to meet expectations, which they do not have.
They merely said that XRP by itself is valuable, it's price is not appreciated yet but it will be.
And what if someone else sells their XRP for money and promises that it will go up - is this also selling an unregistered security?
