Nothing major has happened yet. But it's just the same old bullshit in every team, every company.

It is your job. If you want your job to be easier, call people out. Better yet, if you really care and want to build a career, cover their work. If they aren't embarrassed by this and don't do better, they are open game for being called out in private, then being called out in public.
