Last night I dreamt that bitcoin had the mother of all crashes. It dropped to $3k, $1.5k and $1k while ETH was at $75 at this point

My buy orders got hit and I was able to accumulate 3 bitcoins or something for only a few k

There is a D-day for Bitcoin, a potential one.
Bitcoin is fucking old, and it's slow and the only means of making it faster, Lightning is owned by a private entity. Any other method of moving it faster... is also owned by a private entity, as banks (that accept it) and exchanges just transfer you some bitcoin in their systems rather than actually sending you anything.

It's a big problem for Bitcoin to gain adoption as an actual currency, you know, the main goal of the entire game. The big run. The golden run kind of shit. That has to happen, and it can't really happen with Bitcoin unless a backend is handling transfers, otherwise you'd be standing in a mall for twelve hours waiting on your t-shirt purchase to complete, and since that backend would have to 100% be private or government backed, it's no better than the dollar in the longrun.
Market adoption and investment does outrun actual common sense, though. And crypto is more of a diet stocks now than an actual currency replacement, even if some countries are making pathetic attempts at trying.
