I delivered in Richmond, VA for a while.
Fun if you have a nice car that takes turns well, a city full of side streets and curves, which Richmond does, and you're getting paid.

I got paid good until about the end of Covid. $20-$30 orders to swanky hotels and downtown skyscrapers full of executives, all the while getting paid to slap on a shifter and bash on a clutch to thrash metal for 8 hours a day.

Anyhoo, I'd never do it again. It's a ruined industry. The game is over.

Lel. I got fired from poordash because I would actually refuse to deliver to certain parts of town that I knew where ghettos.

I also had really autistic rules, like I wouldn't accept orders form Mexican restaurants because they took too long or I would cancel a person's order if he was trying to babysit me (as in watch your every move on the app and call you if he thinks you're going "the wrong way")

In fact I cancelled so many orders and ate their food, I'm surprised poordash didn't try to make me pay for some of them.
