The job is basically just exercise, 12-15 miles of walking per day, around 4,000 cases stacked on pallets. (variable weights from 2 oz yogurts to 50lb boxes)

Why doesn't everyone do this

I got hired during the covid phase where it was hard to find work, so they were offering sign ons, raises, bonuses, and simping for anyone to work for them. I guess I got in during the perfect storm.

Things must have changed since I worked there. They paid shit. Timed you on your breaks. Forced you to take a 1 hour unpaid lunch. If you clocked in 5 min early or late you would get scolded, leading to altercations at the time clock when someone's badge wouldn't scan and they'd keep trying. You were constantly tracked by several "managers" that were like prison guards. No overtime unless it was a holiday. Great place to work.

If there was a hiccup we'd just update the time clock at HR at the end of the day and put 5 minutes early regardless

Even then, team morale is high so the managers/trainers have a "what can we do to help" mentality.

Because I make $150-300 per hour with my cleaning business. Not rejoining the wagie life.
