Based on the current rate of price increases. How will anyone be able to buy a house 30+ years from today? Assuming I need to sell this house 30 years from now to even break even. Won't the price be 2-3 if not more million? Who is going to buy this house?

Current wage growth not keeping up with house price increases. Also assume another 2-3 inflation events that will cause more printing. US birth rates dropping for middle class. Where is the money going to come from? Who is going to hold my fucking bag?

Current homeowners and real estate people refuse to answer this question.

I think about this a lot too. Right now housing prices are rising again and "analysts" are predicting crazy growth for the economy in the next years. Do they expect housing to just keep doubling every few years? It seems like we are at the top of a huge irrational bubble that will suddenly pop one day. Or this is the beginning of the "live in the pod and eat the bugs" era

When I have children I plan to save for a down payment on a house for them instead of college. Genuinely I guess starter homes are going to be a million dollar by then. They’re going to need all the help they can get. My state gives every resident 2 years free of community college anyway. I want my child to have shelter, something they can build wealth with, or use an investment. This compared to 4 years of degeneracy and brainwashing is a much more worthwhile investment.

Even when Millennials and Zoomers pump out 4 kids per family it will still take another two decades after that before demand meets supply.
