If you close the short now, how much of a loss do you lock in and compare that too how much you lose if the price keeps moving up and you get liquidated

You could close it now, and if the prices keeps going up and you long, you could get a lot of your losses back.

It’s always a good idea to hedge your bitcoin short with a long on a shitcoin that moves up with bitcoin but always moves higher

That way if your short fails you have the shitcoin long printing money to continue cover your short position
