I'm a link holder from 2018 and have watched uncle oldfag post here for years. I genuinely feel like crypto is dead now though (save for BTC). The only use for a blockchain is for token settlement. BTC is the only use case for crypto and everything else is retarded.

When Chainlink started pushing proof of reserves about a year ago, I started to feel uneasy (you can't prove something about the state of offchain reserves onchain...it's impossible and retarded and just kicking the can down the road for who you want to trust). Now I'm just depressed because I've devoted the last 8 years of my life to this space and I'm not sure where to go.

What's insane is we are at the point now where for 4 years now (basically since 2019) a 10k stack has been unobtainable for newfags. because newfags don't enter crypto with $10k, 99% its usually a few hundred or like a thousand bucks at most, and a 10k stack at its cheapest was 10k for like a couple months, 20k for a few more months, and otherwise has bottomed around 50k for years now.
