Appreciate what sounds like a level headed take. a 2-3x would be LINK < $20 though. I'd at least call it a 4x from $5. 3x from here if we round $18 up to $20.

I also have half a bitcoin and another ~$350k cash and $250k/year income to throw at this stuff "when stuff moves again". I sure hope that dart board situation comes to fruition. I'm trying to get to the point where I'm comfy dumping the job, but I'm in high 6 fig hell.

Because 99% of the times alts only get one speculation phase that they peak in and never reach again. Only ETH (and ADA to an extent) broke this trend. My bet is that LINK with its current negative sentiment and added supply will not reach its past ATH let alone break it.
