>> No.55391632

Was part of a discord and we were trying to make a coin back in 2017 to cash in on the hype and the guy in charge wanted like 10-20 OMG tokens from us each to buy a website. He took our coins and disappeared. At the time they were only worth like 50$ but it spiked and was worth a few hundred at the top.

It redpilled me ina. Lot of ways

I probably could have made it if I only invested in bitcoin over the past few years, at basically any level of support, while working fulltime instead of chasing the shitcoin high.

>> No.55392981

My story doesn't really involve a particular purchase, it's about when I actually got into crypto. I knew about Bitcoin in early 2012 through a real life friend but never bought any of my own at that point. I then actually made an account on an exchange in early 2016 but I had some kind of verification issue and just kind of let it sitting because I didn't really know other ways to get into crypto and just didn't have enough of an opinion to decide if I thought it might get big in the future. Then finally in late 2021 I actually did get into the game which was right when everything was printing money.

Fortunately the money I've invested really isn't that much (only around 1k) so I'm not about to off myself or anything over it, but I'm pretty deep in the red in terms of the investment.

I turned barely 1,600 euros into over 110k over the course of three years by just holding Chainlink.
When it hit about 51 euros I sold, but only a little bit (4k euros worth) thinking it would go higher. It didn't.

This may not seem like a lot to you guys, but have in mind that in my Europoor country people think earning over 20k a year is a "high" salary.
I sold at the very peak but only a small % of my bag. Should've sold all of it. Now I'm here holding this shitcoin for the foreseeable future.

The biggest mistake however is the time I wasted and the effort I didn't put into things because I thought I'd eventually be rich from LINK anyway.

Anyone hindsightposting "i should have sold le top.. but i held..." or "i should have le bought this one le shitcoin that made it when ten thousand others failed and there was no way of knowing which was which..." should be fucking drowned then resuscitated and then drowned again over and over until their body just gives up. Your "regret" is about as retarded as "i should have played the lottery numbers that actually got the win"
Additional note for the "didnt buy btc in 2009 :(" imbeciles, you wouldve bought 500 at ten cents, sold when it hit one dollar and consider yourself a lucky winner. Then you'd go back in to swing trade when it hits 10-100 and manage to buy every top and sell every bottom and now you'd be even more broke and even more suicidal. Folks will keep chanting how they regret not catching a specific lowcap when it was initially hyped. Crypto is for the chads who aren't afraid to take risks. The ultimate move before the bear market kicks in is to snatch up low caps like UTK, OCEAN, and TRIAS that ride the wave of the current narrative. Cash in your profits for stablecoins when they peak, scoop up BTC at its lowest dip, then hustle those gains into more low caps. Rinse and repeat

It reliably puts out and gets a little attention but it's so slow and so little. The halving will pump it a little bit but it won't have staying power.

Wanna know? Selling Vet at a loss and then watching it skyrocket x12 just a few months later must've been a real punch to the gut. Let's hope I won't make the same mistake with Krest. I bought it through Fundrs, so fingers crossed it turns out to be a winning move this time around.

Not taking real profits ever. Could have totally changed my life a couple times but waited like a bitch because I was a buck broken wagie and physically crippled, so I became exit liquidity.

Oops, let me guess: it's probably meme coin, or is it fundamental, and on which assets?

You became exit liquidity. Kek. This should be a lesson, and always use SL no matter what.

Pretty sure he did, that's what happen when he gives custody of his assets for ridiculous yields even if you are determined to put your stables to use it's safer to focus on decentralized opportunities and also consider leveraging on yield aggregators like SpoolFi.

Invest in what precisely?

Some dumb traders still go with meme and expect things to completely turn around for them. Investments in this area don't often go like that, and even if they do, only a few lucky ones scale through, while the rest get burned.

BTC, ETH, LINK, ROSE, many other alts. I took enough profits to get by for a year and further my career, like I really couldn't have done it otherwise. But fuck, I should have listened to the fear bros. I would have a home and paid my mom's mortgage 5x over.

Well, it's never too late to get back on track since the market has positioned itself once again for another big spot in the long run. I just made the most of it. Personally, at this point, I'd prefer RNDR and Dua over Link and Rose. Still undervalued, but stand a chance for a better ROI. Many folks seem to have lost faith in link due to the 7% inflation and the lack of major developments to serve as catalysts.

Eth and Bitcoin will definitely pick up and spearhead. I won't consider that a loss.

>>55399652
Absolutely. It will deliver more once DePIN solution emerges, and the other is most likely to do so once their self-custody wallet goes live. The basis for this seems promising, imo.

10k into prime when it listed on Coinbase, i was expecting the coinbase bump, but apparently that only happens in bull markets, finally sold at 2.5, went down to 1.1, then rallied to 2. Could've broke even if i just followed it.

crypto newfag here,

I was wondering where I could buy like 3 USD worth of LTC (or any low fee coin) and send it to an address for a payment.

As of now the only exchange account I have is an uphold one I made to get the free BAT a while ago. Uphold has a minimum of 10$ for purchase.

Preferably I'd like to buy the 3$ LTC without going through all the KYC procedures.
