I've made a few threads and many talk about business opportunities they would try with excess capital once their living situation is completely secure that basically build abundance and empower others strictly for the sake of doing so.

I have a great idea myself.

Community Equity Building Plan

Start a church for tax benefits that collected donations and legally funnel it to a separate LLC(I'd have to look at laws and regulations but the church would receive a small percentage of the rent as donations to continue to function but not profit) to purchase apartment buildings where the inhabitants would qualify for section 8 or any initiative that helps pay housing payments.

The congregation in the community would have random lotteries of anyone who would be willing to live in them. The idea is they won't trash the value of the property because I'd allow them to build equity through their rental payments, most of which would be funds coming directly from government aid.

Then the LLC(indirectly the church) would buy back their equity portion which they will use as a down payment to get a home of their own. Perhaps allow only 1-2 years per person in order to cycle through as many as possible. Ideally they purchase a duplex or multi-housing unit as well with an FHA mortgage loan, which works if its their first property and only at 3.5% needed as a down payment. Interest rates are high currently though.

To give an example of how this would work, a Section 8 applicant moves into my apartment. Their rent is $800/month. In many cases, the assistance will cover 70% to even 95% of the rental cost. If "Rent to Own", lease agreements are legal through Section 8 I would have it drafted to where 50% of their payments count as equity to the unit.

Of course, they would never actually own the unit but simply get paid out their equity portion at the end of their lease minus any damages that exceed the security deposit. If I remember correctly, FHA loans allowed gifts as the down payment and so I'd ensure the equity they are accruing is only spent on a mortgage loan per their lease-equity agreement.

50% of $800/month is $400x12 months=$4800 they now have available to use to get a mortgage for their own home. In my area, if the applicant was single with no spouse or children, 30% of the median income is approximately $19,000 per year. That is approximately 25% of their gross earnings for the year saved AND their rental payments for that year would be probably at most $200-$300/month out of pocket.

A new member would then move into the apartment. Section 8 and housing initiatives can be stringent and take some time for the owner of the property to be approved. The applicant's household income must be less than 50% of the median income for a household of the same size in the county or metropolitan area where they want to live. As the property owner, you are required to give 75% of the Section 8 vouchers to people whose income is less than 30% of the median income for their household size in the county or metropolitan area whey they live.

I've noticed that after highschool, a large portion of the males in my cohort went on to do nothing with their lives. If I make it, I will build a self-sustaining monastery in the countryside where any man can come and live, away from the sin of modernity. Those who choose this path will spend their days caring for the gardens and animals, reading and discussing holy scripture and praying to the 2nd coming of the son of God, Sergey of Nazareth. They'll attune not only their souls, but also mind and body, and will use skills learnt to build housing for the poor and fix infrastructural low-hanging fruit like pot holes and degraded public spaces.

Isolation isn't key to fix the problems we are currently in however if that is what you want then that is fine. Building community within society is the end goal is to empower as many normal people as possible and influence society towards virtue instead of sin. Give freely while being able to maintain the system that creates abundance without judgement and others begin to do the same.
