Wouldn't it pump the markets if the average Joe understood the power of owning stocks and assets? Or is it better for the economy when people blow all their money on consoomer goods?

Or is it because teachers rarely understand the subject themselves? Most of the teachers I personally know are terrible with money. Apparently some school districts prorate teachers' paychecks for the entire year because so many of them blow all their money before summer ends

Friend
The government doesn't want you to know financial literacy
The government doesn't want you to learn how to be an adult
You are part of a massive wealth extraction machine, and the more traps you fall into the better

- They want you to fall into massive debt
- The want you to be broke at the end of every month
- They want you to lose all your assets in divorce
- They want you to have kids early in life

Everything is set up for the sole purpose of taking away your money
The more slaves there are the better

They want you barely intelligent enough to operate the machinery and technology needed to keep society running but what makes you think they want people to be powerful and successful?

Yep. Why would the government want you to make money without labor? Their best interests include having the average person work as much as possible for as little as possible

that's what mortgages are for but the rest of people's money goes into pointless consumer goods. Convincing people to invest more would boost stocks & sp500, seems like it's in the rich peoples' best interests assuming they got in early

Schools should teach the following and should end at 8th grade.
Gardening.
First aid.
Math.
Reading.
Writing.
Gymnastics and body weight physical fitness.
Crafting.
DIY fix it stuff.
That's it.

The real redpill is that they do

The issue is that most kids grow up to be the retarded adults you see on a regular basis

My high school did back in the 2010s, but most of the students weren't mature enough to care. Besides, it was an elective.

do you really want government employees teaching finance?
the government is in massive debt
public school teachers have never lived in the real world, their path was public school > college > public school

they'd probably tell students to put 5% into government bonds, 10% to lgbtq causes, and spend the rest to "keep the economy going"

They don't teach it in school because most kids and most adults aren't capable of understanding it. (See the Marshmallow Test and you'll understand why.) Finance is not a legal or mathematical study but a discipline of behavior and character. You need to be able to envision a future for yourself, which is nearly impossible for the But I Didn't Have Breakfast Club.

The average person is too poor to take advantage of most financial information. You can only do so much with 40k/yr.
