No, I’m not in a bubble of well off people, I live in rural Nebraska.

I’m not seeing anyone cut back spending, I’m not seeing anyone significantly change their habits at all. Despite the massive inflation of the last 3 years I have yet to really see anyone struggle in the slightest. They’ll complain about food prices or gas prices or the rent going up in the big city, but they are still doing just fine, they live the same lifestyle as before. They’re still buying cars, still taking trips, still eating out, still buying homes, still going out.

Anyone else noticed this? If inflation is hurting everyone so badly, why haven’t I seen it at all?

And before you guys say “everyone is in massive amounts of debt to fund their lifestyles!”, I already thought of that, and turns out they’re in less debt than ever.

So what the fuck is going on here?

The part you don't hear about is that they've probably had to pick up a second job, or find another source of income, or (most likely) are just deep into debt.
The collapse of purchasing power isn't simply one day you have everything and the other you have nothing. It's a somewhat slow process.

yes they are still doing all those things but are not saving for retirement at a lesser extent, if at all. the consumer goy has made peace with working until death. just look at all these boomers going back to work bc they got bored out of their minds from retirement. its the slave mentality that they cannot deviate from. the whip is invisible and it works better than a real one.

Majority of people live paycheck to paycheck and spend and consume every dollar they have.

That’s what you see.
An illusion of wealth.
