>Finishing up a career change from sales rep to Category Analyst, and going from $55k to $75k a year
>Been trying to get my GF to learn a skill so she isn't a retail store receiver for 40 years

Is keeping this relationship going even worth it financially speaking?

Do you really love your GF? If so, stick with her, along with nudging her to something better along the way.

why would you want your girlfriend to work. she should be learning useful skills, like cooking, homekeeping, music, etc.

>currently working in tech sales and scaling a startup that I'd like to take full-time within the next 1-2 years
>currently on track for 95k this year, could continue with the sales route and move up to 200-250k or work on my startup full time (100-150k if I don't re-invest and continue to scale at current pace)

>GF was just hired at a top 10 US public high school district
>they'll pay for her masters (she plans to start this fall taking night classes) so she can move into admin
>admin in that district starts at 110k and reaches 200k with experience/seniority

I think it looks good for us. She has a very stable career ahead of her and will be out of the classroom in a few years, and I have a very strong outlook in my career path, at least I feel like I do. What say you all, /biz/?
