If you are providing 8 hours worth of service to them then it doesn’t matter if it takes you 1 minute or 16 hours to accomplish it.

I’m in a similar situation here. It’s nice because most days I have basically no work at all to do. I can go weeks without even opening my laptop if I really wanted to. The problem is that I’m so beyond bored. I feel like I’m wasting my life. The money isn’t enough to justify wasting my life and that small percentage of time in actually working, I hate it and myself so much that I want to shoot myself. Sometimes I have to give a presentation on a Zoom call and I cringe so hard at myself that I want to die. I can be really hard on myself too. I feel a lot of shame for not being like a politician or a successful entrepreneur already. I used to have a very high strung job with very long hours but they paid me a lot. I think about trying to get it back sometimes, even though I’d know I’d hate it. At least, I could help my mom buy a house and buy a good education for my nephews and nieces.
