My dad caved and sold his crypto at the exact bottom.
Why are they like this?

By "they" you mean the goyim, right? Hehe, well don't worry, I bought your dad's bag from him and my friends and I are all going to laugh about it during Shabbat later :)

Be poor, think poor. Think poor, be poor.

This is, in fact spiritual. They are made to lose from the start. Don't have compassion, these people will hate you on command

Dude

I love my dad but when the big crash happened after 2021 bull season I told him to pull his crypto off of Coinbase. He got frustrated with the price being low, went full dummy and sold everything instead.

He needs that money to put towards a house anon. All his friends are doing it, and prices just keep going up and up, massively outpacing inflation. It's a great investment and a way to earn passive income for retirement.

You should be more supportive of your father anon.

This is what I tell him. "You're falling for a psychological trap." but he still sold

He's not your dad

I honestly don't know why it's so hard for people to be long term rational, but they can't.

On the positive side if you can it pays well so that's the plus.

I have begun taking distance towards my father as well in what feels sorrowful at first but then renewing. I realized it was not him as a father or person that made me care for him, it was how he reminded me of life itself which made me care for him.
From here on, it's much clearer for me how to handle his archaic stance on life.

About my father.. He's a historian by trade but didn't read the right books by his heroes like Solzhenitzyn I were introduced to by the scary internets he stayed away from. Possibly because of his dealings with his temptations. Which is completely understandable.
He always was so close to get past the fence. Always was close the completely brilliant choices like investing all his inheritance into gold in the 90'ties by intuition and understanding of principles. He was looking into bitcoin when his students talked about it in 2013 while I back then was a complete junkie moving back in and getting kicked out again. But never acted on so many good ideas, which is a shame.
He now got cancer, possibly from the clogshot, but didn't even want to heal up with natural remedies, like with kombucha just like his hero from the gulags did..
So I guess it's about starting the remoralization process somehow which is what makes you heal up and begin taking the right choices for yourself. Even if you become a loner from it.
He even became strangely relieved from getting a cancer diagnosis, happily buying all the junk the coated dealers sell him, instead of actually reflect on all the info he has skimmed through, like how his hero Solzhenitzyn cured himself from his cancer with kombucha in the gulags. He's finally being aknowledged from being in pain..! That, outwardly has been such a relief to him, but even then, I know it's a farce. His wound is so deep only God can heal it.

It it painful to observe fully how much of a fall from grace people take when they succumb to the slave pressure and belief in the sickness.

Ive shilled btc to my dad since it was $300, he always said he didnt trust it and cryptos a scam.
Then one day he told me he bought doge coin back when elon hyped it, he bought for .30, and became euphoric when it hit .70, so he bought more.
Last i heard he sold all his doge a few months ago for 0.06.
Also hes been seething at bitcoin ever since it pumped to 20k in 2017

They can't escape the dungeon programming of the matrix. Pitty them anon, for they are not like us, but it is not their fault. We are chosen, the 'tism has blessed us. We must hide or 'tism, but it is what sets us apart.
