This is what I feared. The BTC whales' main target was the remaining supply.
Forcing Sergey to dump as many token as possible at a low price so that he won't gain too much power from the network's success.
They can't allow someone to make trillions as it would put into danger their system.

On the other side Sergey has an issue from the start where he never tried to directly attack the fud and play politics.

The news is not entirely bad because it gives some clarity on the future inflation and the current level can only last 7 years which is a fast pace compared to his remaining 15 years long term plan.
It's possible that a miracle will happen in the coming 12 month which would require a higher inflation with a more bullish crypto space.
