Anyone have interesting ideas that don't take much effort? I was planning on starting a software consulting company with a few employees for visa purposes, and at least with that I could earn some money to offset expenses (main income would still be wageslaving). But now it looks like I need to somehow relate it to AI work. Some ideas I've had so far:
1.) English language teacher/assistant (everyone else is probably already doing this)
2.) Dating coach (seems difficult without access to dating site data, also highly dependent on looks, so even if your output is correct users might be dissatisfied if they're ugly and it doesn't work)
3.) AI art website. Easiest thing to setup IMO but market is very crowded. With vast.ai / my own hardware though I could undercut people operating on AWS.
4.) Virtual Secretary - reminders about due dates, provide rough drafts of things ("hey, your research paper is due tomorrow, here's an outline I made based on your emails/texts/slack/etc")

Hate to tell you this OP but you missed your chance to hop on the AI Saas hype train late last year before the normie cancer from YouTube took over it.

Now every single micro niche you can possibly think of for AI Saas is extremely oversaturated.

The only thing you'll see now of days is, "crypto is wack man - check out this new AI Saas course I have bro! it'll get you rich in 2 months bro, I promise!"

I understand perfectly why you'd fall for meme business ideas though. It's extremely hard to find something that's fresh and the next cool thing without any sort of network with VC's and other richies. They share the secrets amongst themselves before they go big. Sadly, if you're just an average dude trying to make it these days, the information is being deliberately withheld from you until it's already too late and every normie on earth is talking about it.

I see where you are going with that idea, but iOS and probably Android are already doing that shit to a small degree since they have all that info such as emails, calendar info, flight/hotel booking info, geolocation, etc. You would need to tap into all that private and personal info somehow, and then provide context sensitive useful information in a timely manner, otherwise it is nothing more than setting reminders on your calendar app.

That's part of the game
You're right, all these small "tech startups," especially anything like fintech or SaaS, have basically no value proposition and can get their lunch eaten if MS or Alphabet were more aggressive. However, big tech has gotten lazy like traditional industry so gaps appear where you can grab some paltry amount of market share. If you can get that market share fast enough, usually by burning through a huge amount of VC dollars, the activation function for big tech to start the service you made now has a higher value than simply acquiring you. Nothing new actually gets made, the "innovative startup" gets rolled into an app no one uses, and jews walk away with full pockets laughing as usual.

There are no secrets, it's all a shell game. VCs are mouthbreathing idiots who use money they got by nepotism to invest in the dumbest shit possible so they can hype it up and sell it to some other idiot.
Look at something like Juicero. Don't tell me know one investing in it saw the prototype and thought "that's the dumbest fucking thing I've ever seen." They knew, but it doesn't matter if you can exit at the next round for 5, 10, 20x what you got in for. It's ALL a game
