I work in sales and am also in charge of call monitoring. I reported that many people were just addressing clients by their first name with no Mr., Ms, or Mrs. And I got told to fuck off because it is not going to help with enrollment percentage. Is my manager right or just some fucking dumbass? (He also does this).

From what I understand, a customer that does not feel respected is not going to spend $1000+ on our program.

depends on the customers. If you are selling luxury goods or goods that have customers that think they are purchasing luxury goods which are just repackaged shit, it Mr., Ms.. If you are selling tools to handyman, trades people or farmers, first name works

Depends if you are talking to Mr Huntington or Mr Dayquan O'shane

Depends what you're selling. My job is as a buyer for billion-dollar contracts, and I'm close enough with the guys in the contractor team (and with my own customer) that it's usually just "Hey mate" rather than even using names. If someone called me "Mr. Anon", I would assume they were an ESL pajeet.
