I would buy/build myself a decent house about 35-45 minutes outside of the nearest major city. I would set myself up to make an extremely safe passive income of just over $170k annual that way I can constantly have a stream of money but not so much that I'm one of those "so rich I don't know what to do with myself" types. I would raise a wonderful family and would use my free time and excess funds to help further specific efforts like having large influence on education wherever I live. Id donate to proper causes and do things that would make me happy as a person, like building ice rinks for all the high schools so maybe they can have a high school hockey league in areas that otherwise wouldn't play. Or maybe I'd spend money to help an after school physics program that needed just a few thousand more to keep going another few years. I would be an active member in the community and would try to be a force for actual good and societal progress while raising my kids to be solid members of society and hopefully setting the foundation for multiple generations of wealth at least far enough to where id be happy I say if at least 3 generations can hold it together that'd be a win and if I can help the place I live become a better place for awhile maybe they'd name a bridge after me idk
