Give me the bullish case for LINK. I have $85k in USDC and I'm thinking of going all in right now, since this is obviosuly a low.

High IQ LINKers, when does the token actually become needed? Fuddies fuck off for a second. I'm genuinely interested in trying to figure out if there is value or not. I've been here since 2017 and it's pretty obvious the LINK magic is gone from this board, but I do know some of you still lurk. Help a fren out.

The token isn't needed, you can say that for literally every single crypto. Why use altcoin when you can use eth? Why use eth if you can use btc? Why use btc when you can use the dollar?

The token isn't needed is just some stupid narrative used to shill your own bags. X isn't needed, which is why you should sell and buy my bags.

link is the only project in this whole space worth a shit, besides btc and tether and ethereum. And the team behind chainlink is about 10x more competent than all these other clowns in crypto. But crypto as a whole is such a useless shitfest that it will probably be 5-10 years before it warrants real normie investment and causes link to pump. At least thats how I feel after 2 years of pure demoralizing dumpage.

its just as if not more useful than ethereum. It's basically oracle gas plus node collateral. If LINK falls under TNN then so does ethereum, bitcoin and every other coin. Capishe?

yeah luckily i missed the demoralization phase and i'm ready to jump in because it feels like it's time. hell even if i get a 3x i'll be pretty happy. a 3x is literally just $15 which i can't see why it wouldn't hit this in the future.

Nah with chainlink you can pay in any token. Eth only accepts eth
Also chainlink has the worst distribution in crypto. Sergey still has 50% of the entire supply. For reference ETH had a 10% premine with a 80m supply. Chainlink has a 65% premine with 1b supply

It won't ever be needed, but the success of the project means it is ready for a hype bubble like Ethereum in 2017 and retail investors will buy the token if and when they see it pump. That is when you sell.

OKAY NEW QUESTION, IF I GO IN WITH $80K, SHOULD I GO ALL IN NOW OR GO $40K NOW AND $40K AT NEXT DIP?

My bullish case for the next year revolves around the CCIP driving a significant rise in demand for the Link token. I believe that without a network effect the price of the Link token may not significantly increase. This is largely due to my observation that retail investors are less interested an actual product and more focused on speculative gains.
My case further than that is the Swift pilot program with 12 global banks. The tokenization of assets will have a significant impact on the network (short and long term).
It's just the beginning, so there's no telling how long it'll actually take to get it rolling.
You have to understand that this is probably one of the most legitimizing events in crypto history. No matter what, market leaders have decided Chainlink is here to stay.

>> No.55265036

>>55264970
I don't see anything that will lead to a "significant" increase in price soon. CCIP will come out soon, but I believe that's going to be a slow-ish increase in demand.
I guess it really depends on how many products are already ready to go when CCIP goes live.

My thought process here is that I'd like to hold for more than a year to dodge burger tax and only pay 10%. So I'd be holding for a year or more. My hope is that we'll fly this time next year.

Personally, I'm all in. Everything is just noise until the next bull market for Link. I've felt 100% at ease with my investment even during the latest down turn (it's all white noise).
I enjoy my life and can continue to wait another year or two.

Chainlink (the company) issues $link token to raise money for their product development. This is, of course, illegal in almost every country.

If Chainlink (the company) decides to require holding the $link token to access their services, in an attempt to raise the price of $link, it is, of course, illegal in almost every country.

If Chainlink (the company) decides to introduce staking and fee sharing to token holders in incentive holding and raise the value of their token, it is, of course, illegal in almost every country.

Chainlink (the company) develops moat-less oracle products that anybody can copy. These oracle products can only have value while facilitating the use of wallstreet-style financial products by the common man. It turns out that facilitating access to wallstreet style trading products to the common man is illegal in almost all countries.

There is no way out. Any attempt to raise the value of $link is illegal in nearly every single country.

That doesn't mean it's going to be only up from here. We literally don't know. It could go to $3, or $2. But it could also rocket to $20. There's no way to predict this.

But we just heard from the horses mouth. Swift literally came out and said everything was true, and we've been in a bear market for two straight years. Seems like a good as time as any to get in desu.

yes and where are those auto swapped link tokens coming from? Hint: its not coming from the open market, its coming from the 35% stack sergey has set aside for node operators, those node operators then dump this link on the market, resulting in higher circulating supply and lower price.

>Also don't even talk about token distributions when chainlink is one of the only projects without massive VC scammer investors
Makes 0 difference wether some rich vc fag dumps on you or sergey and chainlink insiders do, what matters is the majority of the tokens are held by a small minority who got them for free, which means its profitable to dump at any price.
