They're unironically more concerned about social issues than the state of the economy. Things have been shit for so long that modern generations were raised with this as the new normal and just accept that it is what it is. So it's real easy to take a group like troons and migrants and make it a core issue for people (Trump did it with his wall shit, it goes both ways) because the issues plaguing the economy are more complicated. So people care more about the mentally ill than the factors that cause it.

Franky a bad time to be alive because the party that claims to be against this corporate enslavement is also the party that puts the mentally ill up on a pedestal.

Best thing you can do for your financial future is focus on yourself, and your own happiness. Even in this dystopian hellhole, you can find beauty and fun things. I personally will be looking to invest in AI and automation as it feels like we are on the last stop before some great reset shit where they just let the masses die or something.

The thing I've noticed is that my generation is just completely unopposed to taking on massive debt that we will never be able to pay back. Many of us will never truly "own" anything substantial, we will forever be paying back our debts

our standard of living hasn't dropped off the cliff (yet), but it's being highly subsidized/inflated by tremendous debt. I figure something's gotta give at some point in the next 100 years.
