Just a note - more than 90% of the student loan debt is held by the federal government, not the banks. Which is why the Biden regime has argued that they have the power to unilaterally waive that debt; student loan to debt to banks is not covered by the proposals to forgive loans.

Now my question is more about the colleges & what the hell have they been doing with all this money? They should be the ones on the hook for accepting all this federal money & not using it to provide useful degrees.
