Not necessarily. Some of that pricing is people assuming inflation keeps trending down (maybe we double the SPR doomp rate? Or triple the number of illegals flooding in?) and the Fed has breathing room to cut to address gradually rising unemployment.

A "soft landing" as it were.

Recently I had a dream that I was taking a walk through my late Grandmother's neighborhood. I was walking down a steep hill not too far from her house when I was menaced by predatory animals (A common motif in my dreams). Specifically, a bobcat crossed my path, about the size of a large dog. The cat had a cub with it, and fiercely growled at me to warn me away from it's young. I decided to turn around and go the other way, of course, but when I turned around I saw an entire pack of Bengal Tigers back behind me at the top of the hill, prowling back and forth and staring intently at me.
What the fuck are the financial implications of this? This seems to clearly indicate a lesser (And less malevolent) "obvious" threat with a much larger (and more malevolent) threat lurking out of view. My position for this year was to hold 80% JEPI and make smaller swing plays with the rest (mostly RSI-based swing plays on individual stocks and TQQQ swings on dips). But what could be Tigers be? Do they represent Opportunity cost from $JEPI's limited upside, a market crash, or something else entirely? I need guidance.

Does it even matter? No matter how well I do, I can see pain on the horizon. My parents are bleeding through their money like crazy, and are constantly pulling from a tax-deferred account so they're actually spending like 20% on top of whatever they spend for daily expenses. I know whatever gains I make will end up going toward keeping them alive, and my brother is a teacher so he barely has enough to keep himself afloat.
They have a lot of assets (art, a house, etc) but the times have left them behind and they dont know how to sell anything.
I hate my IT wagie job and I am only semi-competent at trading. I'm 30 years old and I'm coming to terms with the fact that I will never be rich. No, not even that - I will never be just rich enough to live a meager lifestyle while not working.

>Lowest population densities
Canada is a fucking mining colony disguised as a country. The only places in Canada that matter are urban centers, eg Toronto, Ottawa, and the west coast. That's where the density is.
But people leaving Toronto are still buying in Ontario, where prices are ridiculously high, because they don't want to move to Manitoba and deal with abbos, or move out east where there's fuckall and ice storms. So most of the population in Canada will still remain in those places.
Even people with homes here that cost $600k-$1m barely have any money or investments. The poorfags I work with mostly live pay to pay, and only a handful are capable of having a few months rent. The rent where I am (outside of Toronto in a small town) is over $1800 for a 1 bedroom apartment plus utilities. Nobody here can afford a house, and the ones that can are multigenerational pajeet families.
So yes, I think demographically speaking, apartments and rentoids are a solid choice to wager on

I like it but it needs some defensive stuff that will carry you through shitty markets. Since you like triple leverage I'd suggest UTSL for utilities. Obviously CURE for healthcare. There isn't a 3x for consumer staples sadly but there is a 2x with the ticker UGE though it kinda sucks and doesn't seem to track the consumer staples index but it's all there is for the niche. The unleveraged staples is XLP. You could always open leaps calls on that if you have that option. I'd prefer the calls over UGE

I'm in a high tax state. The second highest probably. But my taxes are reasonable considering. And the town did come and fix the caved in portion of the driveway free of charge. And there are some nice nature trails within running distance to my house. Not all bad. But not all good either

The balance sheet is being run off. Interest rates are heading toward restrictive territory. That leaves only one thing fueling inflation and that's deficit spending which is extremely stimulating to the economy and extremely inflationary. As long as the government keeps spending money it doesn't have the bigger Powell and his successor's jobs will be. And it won't end cuz austerity doesn't win elections and the consequences don't come until later
>it will end in our collective ruin

And I lost 5% of my portfolio balance by being a retarded bobo on Thurs and Friday after already making my money in the morning. I have the bad habit of over trading and turning guaranteed green days to guaranteed big red days. And I'm about to be out of pocket for the roof, and I have aspirations to move to Boca Raton on a golf course in the next 5 years and keep my current house as a summer home. Need to get disciplined with my trading. I have the confidence to know I can be profitable. I just don't quit while I'm ahead because I'm bored and get cocky after being on a good run. I thought I was beyond getting heemed on predictable stupid low volume low volatility days like last Thursday and Fri. Just when you think you have it all figured out, you get heemed again to humble yourself

I'm pretty good at bottom fishing so I use gamma from writing ATM puts and then buy the hedged strike depending how confident I am in the read. For disney I wrote ATM at $90 in january i think and bought puts at $80. If I wasnt so confident I'd buy at $85. That's what I did for alibaba. $80 strike, $75 hedge strike

You should also be doing fundamental analysis to see what the true bottom is. For example I got $67 for akamai, and it literally bounced off $70 perfectly. Fundamental doesnt really work for upside, but it should work to figure out what the bottom is

here's what helped me senpai. my main filters I keep on a sticky (below).

But, every day I tell myself my goal for the day is to have ZERO (0) cataphoric loss days. This is very important! If you take a huge loss, it will take you months to make it back if you ever do. That should be your only goal for the day. If you win or lose, but stick to your MM. That's okay.

Filters to not take:

I have very humble aspirations. So for me if I make 5% in a month on a trade I take profits. If I make 10% within 6 months I take profits. At 1 year I need like 18%, 2 years I need 25%.
I never cut my losses because I'm a retard and tell myself, "Dont worry, at least in 5 years you'll be in the green!"

I dont trade options or anything, just buy and sell stocks :^)
