All I'm saying is that 2-3x upside potential isn't small if the risk is lower. Not all miners are made equal. Most are absolute garbage and 10x "potential" means jack shit if you're most likely going to lose all of your investment. I'll take a likely 2-3x over an unlikely 10x every day

the Snowline buyout is going to dwarf the Kinross acquisition of Great Bear. Snowline's deposit already makes Great Bear look like Great Panther

>> No.55204708

>>55204184
Kinross really did themselves dirty with that GBR buyout. Excellent marketing from GBR really, they fell for it hook line and sinker. Kinross is fucking awful at M&A. On Snowline, it's one of the better explorecos but I'm very happy having exposure to them through B2G instead. Love that company. Low AISC, high divvies, strong balance sheet, good growth, tier one mine in West Africa. Beauty of a producer.

I'm obviously not good at picking which shitco explorer is going to pump to 10x for no reason but If there's one thing I'm good at and have proven over and over in a thread is calling when to bail on a stock, see Santa cruz.

Snowline is shaping up to be a district-scale monster, look at their first hole news release for this season. I'll add more if it pulls back and hodl until the buyout.

Bounced off pretty perfectly from the ceiling of the channel, needs to get over that 1.32.
I think it's in a place where it's shortly going to start breaking out of the downtrend though. Too many things in the pipeline with the new CEO and FS coming up along with whatever news may pop up from TPR.
I want to see this go past the gap fill at 1.9 and I think then we have a proper confirmation of a real uptrend.

I noticed that wedge forming too only today after seeing the triple point updates. I dumped this stock a while ago but might get back in before the wedge breaks because I think you're right that it's going to be to the upside

it looks like Polymetal is thinking about dumping its russian projects so there could be some interesting activity soon.

Benchmark Metals and Thesis Gold are merging, pretty big news for that part of northern BC.

Yeah, I think it's close to making some meaningful progress in resolving the Russian subsidiary issue. I'm just nervous that I might have to do some shit to keep my shares. I'm seeing chatter about transferring shares to Kazakhstan brokers.
It's not clear to me whether that may be necessary to keep just the Russian portion of the company, to have any beneficial value from the holding at all (including kazakh prod).

My position isn't that large, so paying a flat $500 to transfer certificates out of TD seems pretty impractical.

>> No.55208653

Good close for sodium company, it'll be interesting to see if it's going to bust out of that channel tomorrow.
Could be another high volume day coming if this is the start for a new uptrend.

Before you enter ANY investments or trades, you should have a strategy for how you exit it, whether it's a PT for selling out gradually, or a stop loss to exit entirely. If you're up even 50%, I would have sold half my position and moved my SL to breakeven and let the win ride.
