I am a CS student in Spain but I have a house and a piece of land in a town that is 30 minutes from the nearest city in Portugal, the piece of land is not very big but I have a few olive trees and a few workers that I pay with olive oil so that they maintain and take care of the olive trees and the land, I take a small part of the olive oil and the house is big enough for a family to live in but it is very old, it belonged to my grandparents, later it became my father and now it's mine, I have 50k euros saved and I plan to finish my cs degree and do a degree in cybersecurity. The question is, should I stay here in Spain and buy a flat or house here or look for a job in Portugal and go live there, renovate the house and live in that town? The town is actually a village of 500 inhabitants. I was thinking of reforming the house as cheaply as possible and renting it on airbnb but I don't think anyone would rent it

It's not
They use that oil for cooking and the rest of the oil they probably sell it or something, I just want someone to take care of the land

Why?
Just finish your CS degree and get a software dev job. The cybersecurity degree is gonna be several more years of lost income and I doubt it'll improve your earning potential much Vs just the CS degree.
You can learn cybersec stuff while working if you definitely want to pursue it.

Remote work, dumbfuck.

Unless you're an over-socialized normie, living in a tiny village with free (or low-cost) housing and passive income to boot is fantastic. And you're on /biz/, so you're obviously not over-socialized to the point where you have panic attacks if you live outside a city with 1+ million bugmen. This sounds like a fantastic set-up overall, I don't even understand what the question is.

This, without the doom and gloom. History is a flat circle, so the collapse is coming... But you'll be fine once it blows over, as long as you play your cards right. You're young, so what you should do is live and work in Portugal, save money and buy a house in Spain once the markets crash.
