How come it is so hard to find friends who take will take initiative? In my experience, it's always the case that, in a friend group, there is one, maybe two people who are the "planners." They find the events to go to. They rally people up to hang out. They make sure people have transport, tickets, time off work, etc., when something is coming up.

Then, when that one or two people leave, the group totally falls apart, as no one else does any of that. It becomes very annoying, when you are the "planner," too, as, after awhile, it just feels like you are hearding cats, and you become annoyed that it is always you suggesting things, organizing things, rallying people, etc., and that no one else ever does so.

Why is it like this? Do other Anon not experience this? How does one make more competant friends, where it's not always just one or two people organizing things and bringing folk together? Is it even possible to do so, or are most people just unwilling to get things going themselves, and will only rally forward if someone else leads the way?
