This why this is going, they fucked around and stole a whale wallet, so the Estonian government i think got involved. This is playing out like Do Kwon 2.0. He likely going to prison. Also, they started deleting stuff. The support pages and google drives have been deleted. They know whats coming. They still have the entire team listed though on their linkedn asd well as the fucking company address and email and phone numbers.

>Doing everything they can to force a dip pre-bullrun so they can get in lower
They probably held a gun to this guys head and forced him to perform some wizardry

>> No.55189655

It appears to be just a ransom attack. All the wallets are single use, empty, fresh wallets. Funds are just sitting there.

>> No.55189666

>>55189655
Ransom attack? So the guys voluntarily sent the funds himself?

>> No.55189689

>>55189666
No, atomic takes the funds, hold them and tell you to pay up or they keep them held. If they try to exchange, they will get caught.

>> No.55189698

>>55189689
Also, it looks like they tell their victims to tell the exchanges to block the addresses anyway. I don't think they can come back from this. It really is over for them.

Why is the CEO name Russian?

They speak Russian in Estonia

My prediction is, they'll update the app and people funds will be back or the other prediction is, He'll be in prison if he isn't getting his office raided as we speak. Estonia is one of the worst countries to do fraud in, because of how their tax system is done.

I can't find anything about a ransom being held by atomic wallet team. Only that funds were moved out of people's wallets without their permission. A bit lost. I only use cold storage so no idea wtf is going on with this stuff

Yesterday, there was a guy doxing the help desk and showing all the piling on tickets. He was bragging about it until mods banned him and removed the content. I'm 100% certain it was an inside job.

Looks like the CEO lives and works in St. Petersburg in reality and bought a shell company location in Estonia just to seem more trustworthy. With Russia running out of money, no wonder the exit was initiated now.

>> No.55189777

>>55189744
That might be true, but the funds have not moved to exchanges.

>> No.55189902

>>55189744
So the Estonian government wont even be able to jail him now?
I doubt Russia is going to do anything to him. He'll just give some part of the exit scam proceeds for the war effort and the law in Russia will look the other way. Only hope is for him to get mobilized tho

>> No.55189957

>>55189902
Looks like it. He'll just get put on some wanted list and never step in a civilized country again, but live free in Russia. That is, yes, on assumption he doesn't get sent into Ukraine

>> No.55190035

>>55189957
He'll have to pay again not to get sent. You see, in Russia, you pay for your life. It wasn't just him though. The entire team of 80+ people are also at fault. Whats in it for them?

>> No.55190091

>>55190035
I'm sure the team will sell him out if needed. Doubt the entire team was in on it, and even if they were, once they are in prison or targeted... most people give in
