I'm up 1% on my entire investment this month. I need to get better and get to 4% per month. If I can reach that I'd be set for serious exponential growth and I could be free in about 4 years.
Is this reasonable? Yes that is a growth of 48% per year.
Right now with just day trading the right stocks I can earn an easy 2.5% per month and I've already seen myself improve at it. I might need to start getting into options once the market goes bearish. It's easy to earn money in a bull market. But one day the market will shit itself and I'll need to make the appropriate plays.

Via handy divvy calc (tripranks has one) via the slow ass "bagging xx shares a month route" which is not as strain full on the budget it'd take roughly 10 years to get back the number of shares I originally had. I came to this conclusion myself this week. After getting my ass kicked the exact same way on Thurs and Fri (which is the exact same way I always get heemed) I finally sat down and did my bookkeeping and wrote down my trading goals and once my goals are met I will log out.
