explain why any rational man would continue to live in an overpriced shithole, versus, gentrify a 90 percent white state with the lowest property cost and taxes in the country

as a young man there is literally 0 incentive to live in the state I was born in, it is controlled by 1 city who enacts crushing liberal policies designed to destroy me and everything my family ever worked for

I could struggle endlessly work myself to the bone, or I could just move to west virginia, with like 3 to 4 years of savings where I have, more rights, more freedom, and contrary to popular belief more opportunity as well

You're gonna make it, fren. Voting with your feet is the right way of thinking.

I'd suggest doing more research though? I'm not sold on WV. Mostly because it has an income tax whereas AK TX NV SD FL do not. Although I do acknowledge that the cost of living, cost of owning a home, seems actually achievable there. I left NY and I'm now in an income-tax-free state. My greatest achievement was passing back through NY to see a friend and being flagged by their toll road system. I never paid it, even to this day, because it is UNENFORCEABLE. In the mail I get a bill trying to scare me into paying it but there's absolutely nothing they can do :) They stopped trying, because they can't suspend my new license in my new state. Fuck the NY Mafia!

my goal is to set up a hydro electric dam running an xmr farm

also I believe the savings on property tax will make up for any potential income tax I come across

owning property is the basis of all wealth and freedom, I haven't been able to find deals better than west virginia, people today are soft

also with all this said wv could still have a real estate boom as things get more dystopian so it makes sense to get in now instead of 10 years from now when people are trying to get in desperately

also wv is enacting a flat income tax from what I've read recently so it will be like 3.5 percent or something
