But, this is /biz/, so DYOR and remember the real, serious projects would outshadow the get-rich-quick schemes and shitcoins. Plus arguably the biggest shitcoin in existence is fiat and will use all its purchasing power to downplay any real competitor. Tether, usdc. They're propped, but not set to rugpull the crypto 'markets', they'd rather control it because of 'profit'.
Just do the opposite of what /biz/ says as a general rule and then DYOR on the projects that seem fudded and living rent-free in the zogbot's narrative. Take nothing here as solid info, that's for certain.
Knowing this would in my honest opinion make you set to sort all kinds of disinfo, which in my experience gives you a solid foundation to discern the truly innovative projects out there. Eventually you'll unwind the power structure of the old money and learn to discern honest and dishonest players.
I see several honest projects beyond the top 100, but I've been here since 2018, and by no means will those be the ones that get pumped by the whales, untill it unavoidably will if they deliver on their promises, because shitcoin no. 1 will try to drown and control the opposition.
That's the people aspect. Then there's the tech aspect. You need someone really smart to tell you shit you didn't know, so learn to trust your buIllshit detector. The nerdier the better here.
Besides that, I have never been in a more uninterresting period of /biz/, ever.
