BAT Payments is revolutionary. The fact that you can donate a cryptocurrency to any site on the web is a huge deal. The fact that you donate a cryptocurrency to any YouTuber is a huge deal. The fact that they don't have to install anything or do anything complex to collect that donation is a huge deal.

For a moment forget about Brave, forget about users getting paid the watch ads, forget about advertisers buying up large quantities of BAT and whatever else is going on with the project. Let's pretend all of that didn't exist. Let's pretend that Brave Payments was the only feature this currency had. I think that alone is enough to warrant it being a top 10 crypto, which would mean billions in market cap.

Ask yourself, why does bitcoin have the value it has today? Two things essentially:

Millions of people own bitcoin

The supply is limited

The exact same fact will be true for BAT:

Millions of people will own BAT

Why will millions of people own BAT you might ask? Because of how Brave Payments works. Anytime you visit a website or YouTuber you automatically donate to them. There exists so many websites and so many YouTubers. Eventually, they will start asking their viewers/visitors to give them more BAT. It will not take long until we reach that critical point and it goes viral.

And everywhere I hear people talking about whether Brave can beat Chrome, or whether users/bots can exploit Brave to gain BAT. THAT DOES NOT MATTER IN THE SHORT TERM! I REPEAT: IT IS TOTALLY IRRELEVANT IN THE SHORT TERM!

I'm telling you. BAT will EXPLODE once people realize that so many people already own it. BAT will EXPLODE because of network effect unlike any other crypto before it. Why? because it is not limited to geeks and the crypto community. BAT will be the first cryptocurrency common people without interest in technology owns. All they have to do is log into Brave Payments and collect their funds. They don't even have to download Brave to do that.

I doubt there are many adults on /biz/ who aren’t holding BAT. It’s an obvious 10x long term.
